INSPECTION SERVICES

Basic NDT

Basic NDT, also known as conventional NDT, used to check & identify asset defect & integrity. Very common in engineering world. Our service covers both on shore & offshore sector.

Radiographic Testing (RT)

Radiographic Testing or RT is an imaging technique using isotope Iridium-192 ray or gamma ray as the energy source  to examine the interior structure & integrity of manufactured components for any flaws or defects.

Low Radiation Radiographic Testing (Lorad)

Low Radiation (Lorad) or Small Area Radiography (SCAR) or is a close proximity RT technique which allow RT can be conducted in close proximity to other activities without impacting critical sensor systems or ray exposure.

Lorad can be used in:

Magnetic Penetrant Inspection (MPI)

Magnetic Penetrant Inspection (MPI) is a cost-effective, fast & easy method used to locate surface breaking such as cracks, porosity, laps, seams and other surface discontinuities by running a magnetic current through the ferromagnetic materials such as iron, nickel, and cobalt, and some of their alloys.

MPI is widely used in:

Dye Penetrant Inspection (DPI)

Dye Penetrant Inspection (DPI) also utilizes colored penetration liquid to identify and locate any surface defects through capillary action to locate porosity, surface breaking flaws such as cracks, porosity, laps, seams and other surface discontinuity.

DPI can be applied on non-porous clean material, metallic or non-metallic & not suitable for dirty or rough surfaces.

DPI is widely used in:

Ultrasonic Testing Thickness Gauge (UTTG)

Ultrasonic Testing Thickness Gauge (UTTG) is sound energy that is beyond the limit of human hearing that used to inspect thickness of solid element such ship hulls, piping, & steel structures by using ultrasound wave to return to the surface.

UTTG can be used in:

Positive Material Identification (PMI)

Positive Material Identification (PMI)  is an analysis of a metallic alloy composition used to verify that supplied materials or material being used conform to the project standards and specifications.

PMI can be used in:

Holiday Test

Holiday Test is to detect unacceptable discontinuities that affect the integrity of painting such as pinholes and voids.

Holiday Test can be used in:

Ultrasonic Testing Flaw Detection (UTFD)

Ultrasonic Testing Flaw Detection (UTFD) is applying high frequency sound energy to examine any engineering material to find hidden cracks, porosity, inclusion, and similar discontinuities.

UTFD can be used in:

UTFD – Non Metallic

Ultrasonic Testing Flaw Detection (UTFD Non-Metallic) is a method of applying high frequency sound energy to examine and detect defect such as debonding, delamination & crack of non-metallic materials such as fiber, polymer & etc.

UTFD (Non-Metallic) can be used in:

Ferrite Test (FT)

Ferrite Testing (FT) a fast, inexpensive, and accurate way to measure delta ferrite content in austenitic and duplex stainless steel.

Ferrite testing is used to confirm the ferrite content balance between ductility, toughness, corrosion resistance, and crack prevention of the inspected material.

FT can be used in:

Hardness Testing (HT)

Hardness Testing (HT) is to check the hardness of the inspected material.

HT can be used in:

Vacuum Box Testing

Vacuum Box Testing used to check for locating any leaks or fault in the welding of bottom & annular plates of the storage tank.

Vacuum Box Testing can be used in:
